We really value the loyalty and support of our audiences. Through your attendance at our concerts and other events, you are already doing the most important thing you can for us in that you are providing audiences for ‘live’ music.
We would like to invite you to go one step further and the gift of singing becoming a member of our Friends’ scheme.
People make this decision for different reasons. Many love the Choral Music repertoire and want to help the furtherance of its performance. Many would love to be more involved but are not blessed with a singing voice! Many are worried by the lack of singing opportunities given to our young in schools and beyond. An increasing number of people are making this kind of donation in memory of someone who loved singing, perhaps a friend or relative.
You may not realise that box office income, even from a capacity audience, often falls many hundreds of pounds short of the cost of the concert. It is a surprise to many just how much it costs to put on live music of the quality achieved by Viva. Guaranteed income through the Friends scheme, along with other donations, gives us the financial confidence to be able to plan more ambitious and fulfilling, high quality concerts.

*’Per annum’, but the period will actually cover three normal concerts. Because the dates of our concerts vary slightly, this period of time can be slightly shorter or longer. Your exact dates will be given at the time of interest.
** Refreshments are normally served after a concert but this may be changed on some occasions to be during the interval. Also, please note that wine is provided when possible but, in venues where wine is not permitted, alternative refreshments will be provided
